Vanguard Fixings Ltd was founded in Southampton 1969, initially trading from the boot of a car! The company provided a local service to builders, electricians and plumbers from its premises on Onslow Road, and re-located to larger premises in the late 1990s. Following a rescue take-over by The ONE Group in 2003, the company's finances were stabilised and the company began to flourish again, expanding the product range and customer base. Vanguard Fixings' reputation for flexibility and reliability is founded upon a close working relationship with suppliers and customers. Today the company provides a next day delivery service of a wide range of fixings, fasteners and tools for the building and services industry to all parts of the UK and Eire. It also offers a trade counter where pre-ordered goods can be collected & orders made up while-you -wait.

Jan 2006.......VGF introduce the Sanha range of Press fittings.   Vanguard Fixings are now a main distributor of Sanha Press Fittings. Sanha are a leading manufacturer of pipeline components and systems used in a variety of applications, including gas and drinking-water installations. As fitting specialists, they are product leaders in the DN 4 - 250 range, with connectors from 6 mm to 267 mm or threads from 1/8" to 6" - in accordance with all common standards in Europe and all normal certifications.

Nov 2005.......VGF introduce Manrose range of Plastic Ducting.       Vanguard Fixings are now a main distributor of Manrose plastic ducting and ventilation. Manrose Manufacturing is at the forefront of the ventilation and fan equipment market. The company has been manufacturing practical, reliable ventilation equipment for over 18 years and is the fastest growing manufacturer of domestic ventilation fans and equipment. With over 600 items in the product range, Manrose continues to lead the way in practical, innovative and cost-effective ventilation solutions.

Jan 2006…….Bosch makes an impact at our Trade Counter.                          The Vanguard Trade Counter has been refurbished and now displays an extensive range of Bosch tools and accessories. Opening hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
